The wine is full body, plump and forward thanks to the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon to Sangiovese, allowed in this appellation on the north-western borders of Chianti.
A delicious bottle to have by itself for a comforting glass of wine, or with pork ragú tossed through Amadio Caserecce, followed by a juicy rib-eye and potatoes al forno.
