At home preparation:
Using a very sharp kitchen knife, slice the beef as thinly as possible. On your chopping board, use the point and back of the blade to press and spread each slice, making them thinner. Arrange the slices on a plate and season with a little salt and pepper. Serve with extra virgin olive oil and wedges of lemon, adding shavings of parmesan and a scattering of rocket leaves if you like.
