Vitello Tonnato

Vitello Tonnato is a classic dish of Piedmont and Lombardy, composed of sliced roast Veal rump, light tuna mayonnaise, and topped with anchovies, capers and herbs. It is an excellent summer party dish, served as an antipasto or a main course, accompanied by a simple tomato salad or wilted and dressed greens at room temperature.

  • Serves 2: veal approx. 450g, tuna mayonnaise approx. 250ml, anchovy and caper dressing approx. 125ml
  • Allergens: eggs, fish, sulphites

Arrange the sliced veal onto a serving plate. Spoon over the tuna mayonnaise, covering as much of the veal as possible. Finish with the caper, anchovy and basil dressing.
