You may not be able to go to a gelateria in the seaside town of Forte di Marmi—where families line up at midnight for giant cones filled with scoops of strawberry, pistachio and caramel—but you can have the ice creams from Shop The River Cafe.
Inspired by Italy, The River Cafe uses the ripest strawberries and melons for our sorbets, and roasted Sicilian pistachios and Vanilla from Tahiti for our ice creams. Caster sugar is cooked until it almost burns to achieve the flavour of the deep, dark caramel.
