Ruthie's Table 4: Jorge Ramos and Paola Ramos

Growing up, as I did in the '60s, the United States was a tumultuous time. The assassinations of President Kennedy, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, the Vietnam War, Watergate, and much, much more. 

 

At the time, journalists were heroes. And so today, when we need to support them more than ever, it was thrilling to be introduced to to two extraordinary journalists - father and daughter Jorge Ramos and Paola Ramos. Listening to their podcast, the Moment, is a revelation. They question, they analyse, and they report. 

 

Jorge, Paola and I live in different countries and have different professions, but I feel there are strong connections.

 

There's Mexico, food, friendship, and truth. I also have the feeling this is just the beginning of a strong friendship.
