“Photography by Matthew Donaldson.” In the past two years this sentence appears at the bottom of every newsletter we send out. Matthew’s striking still lifes and revealing portraits illuminate our Instagram, define our newsletters and are the focus of The River Cafe Cookbook 30. Quite simply, we cannot imagine working or indeed, doing anything without him.
