"Susan Elias creates paintings in which intuition and mastery unite in a language of great delicacy. Her work moves between a nearly musical abstraction — a true inner choreography shaped by tensions and harmonies — and landscapes inhabited by the silhouettes of Roman stone pines, whose light, breath, and almost meditative presence she captures. Each canvas becomes the imprint of a gesture, the sensitive trace of an inner landscape.
Educated at Columbia University and supported by the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, she has developed a practice open to dialogues between cultures and territories. In 2025, her exhibition at the renowned Château La Coste in the south of France met with great success, affirming both the singularity of her vision and the growing international recognition of her work." - Julien Guiraud
