Gift Box FAQ's

• Orders to the UK must be placed by 18th December.

• UK Shipping: All of our gift boxes can be shipped throughout mainland UK.
• International Shipping: Please get in touch with us if you’d like to send a gift box outside the UK. Our ‘Large-without alcohol’ gift box is suitable to ship abroad to most countries or we can curate gift boxes based on country-specific rules for customs & border controls. Please note, some countries require duties to be paid. These are the responsibility of the sender. We recommend using the sender’s email address on the order rather than the receiver’s email address to ensure the receiver (who the gift is for) does not get the bill for the duties. The shipping company will then contact the sender via email to pay for duties in advance of delivering the gift box to the receiver. 

How much is shipping? 
Shipping within the UK is complimentary for all gift boxes. International shipping fees vary based on the country.

When can I have a Gift Box delivered? 
For orders within the UK, you have a choice which week you would like your gift box delivered. Select week 1, week 2, week 3, or week 4 at checkout. Orders are shipped via DPD. If you have a specific date you’d like the box delivered, please include it in the notes within your shopping cart under “Add notes or delivery instructions”

Can I switch a product out of my gift boxes? 
We are unable to make any changes to the contents of our gift boxes. For bespoke gift boxes, please get in touch.

Can I amend my order once I’ve placed it?

We are able to amend orders that have not yet been despatched. To amend an order, please contact our customer services team. 

Yes, you can add a personalised gift note. Within your shopping cart, select the box that says, “Is this a gift?” You can then add a personal note. Gift notes will be printed on River Cafe letterhead and included with your gift box.
