Pear and Almond Tart
This is one of our most famous River Cafe desserts. The tart is cooked with halves of Williams pears in a Frangipane base, which is made of ground blanched almonds, Italian butter and sugar in a pastry case. Perfect served warm or cold with crème fraîche.
