Amaro Nonino Quintessentia
An amaro from Nonino, a family-owned company who have been distilling since 1897. Quintessentia is made with herbs and grape eaux-die-vie, aged in Nevers, Limousin in ex-sherry oak.
Amaro, meaning bitter, is traditionally drunk in Italy at the end of a meal to settle digestion and quench appetite. Quintessentia is a nildy bitter amaro, flavoured with orange peels, licorice and other aromatics.
